The World Is Much Larger Than Many Of Us Realize

  • The world is much larger than many of us realize

    It is larger than the end of one’s nose

    Larger than one’s own backyard;

    Larger than our neighborhoods

    Larger than our own states and countries,

    So to assume “everyone” thinks like one’s own self; has the same life advantages as one’s own self

    Or experiences things in the same way as one’s self; or has the same likes and dislikes as one’s self is

    Is highly arrogant erroneous and self-centered; for we are all individuals with various wonderful cultures and ways of thinking, no one better than the other, just different. There is nothing wrong with being different. It is wise to treat all one encounters with compassion; understanding and a modicum of respect; just as you wish to be treated. Some are not healthy of mind, body and soul as one’s self; some are vets disabled of limb or mind because of wars fought and others because horrible accidents. So the next time one finds one’s self using all inclusive verbiage such as. > Everyone – everybody- all or we. Think again. The only time it is ok to use the term “We” is if it has already been an established endeavor or agreement between subjects concerned.
