  • The Strategy Of The Sheep
    Tuesday, February 27, 2018

Messiah spoke of wolves and sheep. If you belong to Him, you’re a sheep, not a wolf. Wolves are carnivores that hunt in packs. Wolves are considerably stronger, more cunning, and more ferocious than sheep. The Lord describes the enemy of our souls as a wolf. Sheep are timid animals who graze in herds and are without any self-protection from predators. Though sheep are defenseless on their own, they’re usually with a shepherd. So wise sheep learn to not trust in their own strength, abilities, discernment, or perception. Instead, they learn to trust the shepherd even above their own eyes. You’re no match for the enemy and the things which war against your soul, but you’re not on your own. You have a Shepherd. He’s the Shepherd of your soul, and the things which war against your soul are no match for Him. So trust not in your strength or judgment, but learn to trust in His. Stay close by His side and you’ll be alright. His rod and staff will comfort you, and His goodness and loving kindness will follow you all the days of your life.

    Scripture: Psalm 23:4

TODAY'S MISSION - Today, be a wise sheep by staying close to your Shepherd and let His rod and staff comfort you.
