  • When speaking at weddings, funerals or any occasion, have any of you had a legal contract drawn up for your client to sign? Even though I'm an ordained minister, I'm thinking more for a celebrant speaking role. I was also wondering if business insurance was needed in the rare case that someone might sue for some reason? I want to make sure I'm doing things right to protect myself and didn't know if anyone could comment on this. Thank you one and all for your help!

    Missy Willis I would say yes to both. A contract should be simple and define your time of what you're willing to do or say and wear. Believe it or not some give you a dress code or ask that you wear something specific. If I have it in my wardrobe great but if not then...  more
