Weddings in PA

  • I am officiating at my niece's wedding in October in North Hampton County, PA. I called the county seat and was told that all I had to do was sign the marriage license - no need to submit a certificate or proof of ordination. My niece recently saw something online that said that online ordinations were not recognized in PA. Now I'm nervous! Does anyone have any info on weddings in PA?

    Rev. Suzanne Ranu I would check on the ULC site and check on the state regulations... PA is a difficult state for online ordinations and they now want you to have a church, and one of the people must be a member of your church. I know Bucks County will accept ULC Modesto ...  more
