October 23rd "Make a Differance Day" This is a day for people to come togather to make a differance in Our Communities. To volunteer and do something good for someone else. It does nt have to be a big commitment. Someone might be having a bad day, A kind word and a smile can make a huge differance for that person. Here are some other Ideas: Pay a Teen to mow an Elderly Persons Yard or Rake the leaves. Bake a cake,pie or homemade cookies and take them to the local Firehouse or Police station. Visit the Elderly in Nursing Homes,They always need some kindness. Volunteer at the Homeless Shelters or Soup Kitchens. Make a Donation To your Favorite Charity. It will make YOU feel Great Too ! Actually...We should be doing this everyday. But This is a day for everyone to come togather in Unity to make a differance. What will You do?
