Anyone who believes in the Son of God has this testimony of God in his heart . 1 John 5:10 God has given you a Life Message to share. When you became a believer. you also became God's messenger. God wants to speak to the world through you. Paul said, "We may speak the truth before God, as a messenger of God." You may feel you don't have anything to share, but that's the Devil trying to keep you silent. You have a storehouse of expeirances that God wants to use to bring others to His family. The Bible says, "Those who believe in the Son of God have the testimony of God in them." Your testimony has four parts to it: *Your testimony: the story of how you began a relationship with Jesus . *Your Life Lessons: the most important lessons God has taught you *Your godly passions: the issues God shaped you to care about most. *The Good News: the message of Salvation. I want to share with You today about "Why" This message is so Important. I was raised in Church, Grew up in a Christian home and learned about God and Jesus, but did not have a personal relationship with Him. When I was about 17 My Grandmother and I had a conversation that I will never forget. She told me that she had been praying for all of her Grandchildren and that she knew God would bring me to recieve His Salvation and serve him in Ministry and that she would not live to see it, But she knew as God had spoke to her heart (You know?... that small still voice when God speaks to You) Being a teenager I brushed it off and in my mind I thought Aww Grandma ! But not doubting her either because I knew My Grandmother was a wise lady and I always loved listening to her stories. A few months later Grandma passed away. A few months went by after Grandma past, And I was walking home from work. I was walking through a pretty decent part of town when I was approaching as usual an area that had a Dry Cleaners and a Bar on the corner. I walked out from behind a stone wall into the middle of a shoot out. Out of the corner of my eyes I saw a sawed off double barrell shot gun at my head ! Quickly I ducked and the gun fired barely missing me. I was shaken by this for days. A few days later My Mom and a girl I was dating asked me to attend Church with them, for some strange reason I felt that I should go. ( Now I know the strange reason ) and I went.That night I felt God dealing with me in My Spirit and at alter call I went and recieved Jesus as My Lord and Savior. Several Years later, I worked in a Home Service Industry. One day I was driving down the street and came upon a Young Lady trying to flag someone down for help, everyone past her up so I pulled up and asked "How Can I Help You?" I was Not expecting the answer I heard...."Please help me, My mother was driving and I think she is dead" I looked over and saw her mother slumped over the steering wheel from an appearant Heart attack. I told the Young lady to stay with her mother and I would go call for help,come back and stay with her until help arrived. I returned about the same time paramedics arrived. As they worked with her she became afraid and wanted them to take her to the hospital in her car. One paramedic replied "Ma'am We can not help you in Your car,Your very sick. I asked the paramedic if it would help her stay calm so they can work to save her if I could drive her in her car if that would help them ? He replied " That's a Great idea,since we're not that far from the Hospital. So I left My work truck parked there and drove the lady and the paramedics to the hospital and the Ambulance followed behind. As I was driving this lady and paramedics working on her, I told her about Jesus and the prayer of Salvation and how she could have eternal life. She heard some of it and went out again. I thought she didnt make it. We made it to the hospital and they loaded her on the stretcher and took her in the Emergency Entrance at the hospital. And a paramedic drove me back to my truck, I went back to work and I prayed for her through out the day. I said Lord, I did my best. Almost a year went by and I got a work order for a Residential Service. When I arrived at the home the lady of the house said, "I know You from some place." I replied, "You look familiar too" and went on to do the work that was needed. While I was working she said "Do you remember helping a lady in a car on Memorial Drive that almost died ?" I thought about it for a minute...I said Yes. She said that was me ! And I heard You telling me about How Jesus loved me and if I had recieved him into my heart ? before I went out again. She said that it was a heart attack and if I would finish telling her about Jesus, and How she could recieve Salvation ? I did and She recieved Jesus into her heart that day.God also uses Divine appointments, Where He brings people and situations togather. I did nothing but allow God to use me. God can use You too ! God loves us and has a plan and a purpose for each one of us. "He also cares about Every Little Detail In Our Lives" And He still answers prayers of Loved ones that have past from this life,This is one of My Life lessons I learned from the conversation I had with My Grandmother. I have a few Godly Passions, One is I care about people and I want only Gods best for them. This is the reason I shared Jesus with the lady that nearly died. Because I had a close call with death by walking into that shoot out. That one thing helped shape the issues I care about. And Fianally....The Good News: The message of Salvation My Prayer Today is that when You leave here, You will give alot of thought about Your Life Message and that You will allow God to use You to share The Good News.
