How Those Around us are finding the Path

Recently in my journey through the Philadelphia "urban jungle", I came across a man who had some fliers and leaflets that he was passing out to people passing by on the street at night. Now I'm not one to usually take a piece of strange paper from a gentleman on any typical night when trotting through the town at 12 am, but this was a few weeks after I had become ordained here at the ULC, and this man was speaking of Jesus.

Now as most of my friends with me know, I myself am a Wiccan, and generally most people of differing faiths look down on people such as I. Yet on this night I took a chance and went up to this gentleman and spoke with him and asked him about his flier. It contained a few verses from the bible that spoke about how Jesus would come again and judge people.

This seemed quite striking to me as I have only heard of things like this before, and it kind of struck me, I felt compeled to take myself on a more spiritual route, to learn more about religions and with this, I even decided to go back to school for the first time in 7 years. I dont know if this was my sort of "awakening" into myself, or just something else. Yet from all of this, I have learned that you can not just judge people and take quick action onto them, because sometimes good will come from the actions of others even if you do not see it as quickly as you would quite hope.

Deleted Member Agreed. Acceptance is a two-way street and more correctly a triage between you, another and the Creator. Harmony...

Rev. Sean Mazurek I would have to say I believe this completely. If i had not gone down any of the paths that I had and not met or found those that I had, I might not have found myself in the position I did or am today.
