I went to my special place this morning, the place that gives me the solitude that I need to ponder and to ask the Creator's help in a matter that needs to be resloved.
Time does not exist for me in this solitude. I close my eyes in this quietness, I only hear my breathing, in and out. I open my heart and mind to listen to the Creator, so that I may hear His voice.
I am told to open my ears and listen.
I listen to the wind flowing through the path of trees, the wind blowing through the dried leaves on the ground. I hear the waterfall cascading down the rocks. I hear the birds chirping their morning song.
I am told to open my eyes and see.
I look around and I watch a deer off in the distance watching me. I see the birds overhead and a vulture with his huge wing span circling over the rocks and the waterfall.
I listen and watch in my solitude for the answers I seek. I realize that the Creator opened my mind, heart and soul. I had my answer all along, I just had to listen and see to receive it.
Before I leave, I return to the solitude of this special place. I then thank the Creator for the gift of the knowledge and the blessings He has given me this day...
