When I look at the world from outside ‘the box’, I see 2 different types of forces. The first, we’ll call “The Balance”. It is an ecosystem consisting of natural energy, and of the Gaia (the super organism of Earth). The trees and plants, mammals, reptiles, fish, birds, etc.; live within the balance of the Gaia. The food cycle and weather cycle exist within the Gaia to keep a balance within nature. They give us air to breathe, food to eat, water to drink; the essentials of life’s existence.
The other force we’ll call “The Destructive Force”. It contains the forces of humankind. Our ancestors believed in keeping the balance of nature, for it was a gift from the Gaia. They only took what they needed and could use, no more. Modern society teaches us to pillage the Earth of its resources. We rape the landscape of trees, grass, and water. We steal the oil, gasses, and minerals from its core. Yet, we expect no consequence to this. Humankind has evolved from a wondrous, intelligent species; to a destructive pestilence toward the Gaia.
The thing that truly bothers me about this, is the fact that we do nothing. We sit upon our comfort thrones, raping the resources of the Gaia. There have been many renewable, reliable resources throughout the years; but our government will not allow it. They are backed by the very companies that rape and pillage our Earth. Hemp for example, is a renewable resource. It can be made into paper, cutting down the destruction of our forests. Hemp oil can be mixed with alcohol to form a variant of gasoline. Why do we not use these types of resources? Because in the 30’s and 40’s the paper companies and oil companies paid our government to run a smear campaign on the use of such products. Marijuana was then outlawed. And run down by the government and media as being a horrible substance. It has medical uses. It provides oil. It can be made into paper. Maybe we need to start asking our government the real reasons why this plant is not used. Money. That’s it; there’s your answer. Money. It has nothing to do with the ‘hippie’ movement or the so called ‘tree and bunny huggers’. It is practicality and logic.
Industry and commercialism have taken over the world. We have become a plague to this world, and eventually the super organism of the Gaia will correct this.
