I swear, what is wrong with people? They say that they worship God and judge those who worship "idols" but yet the God they worship is nothing more then a piece of currancy! This is making me sick! I was against my mother's church Assemebely of (Hell) for the preacher asking people, "even if you don't have the money to spare, DIG DEEP into your pockets and give even more! (True Story). Him and his fancy church, his 30 minutes sermons about giving extra money after he brags about the convertable a member of the church bought him, and the list goes on and on.
Anyway's, so my husband goes on the internet to a Catholic web-site to do a prayer request. Even though he is more of an ecletic, this was the church he was raised in. They wanted to charge him to submit a prayer request and have it posted for others to pray for him! REALLY? The min. amount is $8.00 and they won't let you proceed until you enter in your credit card number! How do you charge people to ask for prayer? Since when is God's grace only given to those who have money or who are willing to pay? So then he goes to another Christian site who also wanted you to donate to add a prayer request, however, if you could not donate you had to check the box stating basically your are to poor to donate. Ok, so now instead of simply asking for parayer, if you don;t give them money, then you have to humilate yourself because your to damn poor to donate!
To add insult to injury, i ended up at someone's site. I get the fact the fact that people can't work for free all the time because you gotta to surivive. But on this web-site, I noticed that they charge someone to cross their loved one spirits over, or to sit by their bed and cross them over when they die? I'm sorry, since when does "salvation" have a price tag on it? How do you sit there and tell a family that you will take charge of their families soul and insure they cross over but only if they pay you $50.00 to do this? You can't even guarentee the spirit will cross over. Most spirits don't even cross over right away and some don't want to cross over at all! So what, do you lie to the family and say they have crossed over, collect your fifty bucks and move on to the next one? This makes me sick to think that there are people out there who will prey on people's pain like this. Is this service in order to make the family "feel better?" So now comfort and support comes at a price during the most painful time of the family? Grief counciling, I can see, mediumship readings, I can see, but spirit crossing.. no way! Because you cannot guarentee this , besides, what do yo think it would do to the family if they are hard up for cash and can't afford to get their "loved one to the light" then they will be all freaked out on top of their grieiving thinking their loved one never made it to "the light", left in some dark abysse and the soul lost forever.
I hate to be rude, but you can't be playing people's feelings and beliefs like this. It's wrong, just like it's wrong to con thousands of dollars out of people who are living paycheck to paycheck. Just like it's wrong for a people to charge for a request of prayer.
This world is starting to make me sick. I don't see how people like this can look at themselves everyday! Ok, I think I'm done now!
