    The Big Church weekend out-

    This is Good News, because it encourages each one of us to realise that God loves us, that he has gone out of his way to meet us in the person of his Son, in whom he accepts us as we are. He asks us to draw on his strength to live life to the full, and to bring healing to the world. I invite you to join with me in sharing this Good News.

    My own church beliefs, the church believes and proclaims the Good News of Jesus Christ, namely that God is active and personal, a Father who cares for his creation, and for every human being as his beloved child;

    that God is as he has revealed himself to be in the historical person of Jesus Christ, and that through the life, death and resurrection of this one person, God has proclaimed his love for the world, and opened a way, accessible through our response of faith, by which his love and life may be poured into our lives.

    That God is at work in the world today as Spirit, inspiring faith, justice and truth

    We believe that God has called all who respond to him to be his people, and to work together to act as ambassadors for his work of healing in the world.

    I have been asked many times as a combatant chaplain, and when I say combatant I mean actually going into combat armed and fighting alongside my men to make that very clear, so what do I believe in when it comes to my God, what doctrine I follow or observe, normally I never really answer those types of questions as I find them, not to the point of what loving God is all about nor really in his interests, but I thought I would lay out what I believe in, and then you can make up your own minds which way I think?.

    I believe in one God,

    the Father, the almighty,

    maker of heaven and earth,

    of all that is, seen and unseen.

    I believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,

    the only Son of God,

    eternally begotten of the Father,

    God from God, Light from Light,

    true God from true God,

    begotten, not made,

    of one Being with the Father.

    Through him all things were made.

    For us and for our salvation

    he came down from heaven;

    by the power of the Holy Spirit

    he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary,

    and was made man.

    For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;

    he suffered death and was buried.

    On the third day he rose again

    in accordance with the Scriptures;

    he ascended into heaven

    and is seated at the right hand of the Father.

    He will come again in glory

    to judge the living and the dead,

    and his kingdom will have no end.

    I believe in the Holy Spirit,

    the Lord, the giver of life,

    who proceeds from the Father and the Son,

    who with the Father and the Son

    is worshipped and glorified,

    who has spoken through the Prophets.

    I believe in one holy Anglo Saxon Free Church of England.

    I acknowledge baptism and confessional to God for the forgiveness of sins.

    I look for the resurrection of the dead,

    and the life of the world to come. Amen.

    The above sums me up and what I believe in, any further question might or might not be answered on this subject, really depending on why you’re asking, but please feel free to ask you never know I might give you an answer.
