So I thought I'd give a follow up to my earlier story (below).
After 5 court appearances, the City Atty has added 'brandishing a weapon' which is 100% negated by my comments at that time wherein (on 911 call) you hear me pleading with him to let us leave. Negated Assault and the new spefic intent of brandishing.
Yes, I am a Reverand, but I am also an attorney here in CA since 1997, so the outright degradation of my rights as a handicapped and as 'innocent until proven guilty' were thrown out the window.
I spent almost 3 days inside with no food, phone calls or any means to reach the outside world. When I found I was bailed out....another 12-15 hour process. You'd think that after the FBI probe into CA jails 'things' would change, they have not and the inhumanity with which the Non-convicted are subjected to in Los Angeles County Jails is horrific and has only served to exacerbate the PTSD I already suffer from a hit and run driver crushing most of my spine, pelvis, neck, back and more. I now contain no left shoulder, only titanium rods and twists, my rt femur is all metal and my left leg was severed below the knee and the broken ankle was never repaired. ....and yet, I give thanks to the Gd Particles that bind every living creature together. When I was declared dead, all 4 times, I have amazing and beautiful stories to share with all. Just know that death holds no terror. It is a means to connect you to all that exists under an umbrella of unquestionable love. Not really such a bad thing at all. Now, to get the living to hear and accept that we are truly all a part of The One. A task in itself. Rev. Scott Linden, Esq
