So today the prosecutor failed to show up and his replacement refused to try the case. Even though I was the one attacked, the prosecutor refuses to lower charges or negotiate in good faith. They've continued it until tomorrow and the rest of the week, ignoring that I'm handicapped and see doctors 5 days/week. They offered no plea reduction and named officers as witnesses even though none were present when I was attacked. The U.S. Justice system is horribly broken.
