Believe.......An Invocation and Blessing
(Open Verse Poetry... Or a Learning Mans Ramblings)
From the Dawns Early light,
'till the Fall of Twilight,
May your Days be Happy and Bright.
From the Dusk of Day,
'till the Morns' Early Dawn,
May you be protected from any spawn.
For all of the Day,
And all of the Night,
May your Inner Fire
Stay Burning Bright.
May you see True,
May you see Right,
And May your Faith
Keep your Spirit Bright.
Have Faith in Yourself,
And Believe in Others,
Do not Force Faith,
As it may be Smothered.
Be Open in your Beliefs,
And Listen to All,
Learn All you can,
Because Understanding
Will Prevent a Great Fall.
Forcing Conflict is not Right,
For Starting a Fight can Force
You to Lose the Light.
The Path you are on,
The Path you Feel to be Right,
Will bring you in,
To be closer to the light
There is No One Path,
To the Final Act,
All are True,
In Every-ones View.
Living life is Hard,
Living life is Tough,
Even though Sometimes it Seems
That it is not Enough.
Find your Path and
Don't Force Others,
Love Everyone,
Like a Brother.
In the End,
We are All as Dust,
Living your Life Right,
Can be Close Enough.
Some are Called,
Some are Not,
Some Believe in the All,
Some believe Naught.
Searching for Faith,
Searching for Just,
Can Leave you in the Dark,
Can make you feel lost.
For There to be light,
Not Only in the Day,
But in the Night,
Requires there to be Hope,
And to be up for the Fight.
One needs to have Hope,
One needs to Believe,
Not in a God.
But just to Be.
It does not Matter,
Whether you Believe
In a Deity or a God,
Just Believe in Yourself,
And let Hope Matter.
