It is our entire make up of what and who we are as an individual. It is that which is conscience within us. The spirit of a man is that which allows us to commune with God. It can be given over to that which is good and that which is evil, that which is light and that which is dark. The body is the house or vessel in which the soul and spirit is contained. The body is a physical representation of our being. It grows, matures, begins to deteriorate, eventually dies, and then decomposes back into its constituent elements and remains a part of the dust of the world. The body is a part of you but is NOT ALL of what defines who YOU are. Just as we must keep our bodies healthy, we must also keep our soul and spirit healthy. Who we are "inside" is our real self. The health and well-being of our soul and spirit is truly what determines who we are and how we live and thrive in this world.
