Our Foundation is fractured…

  • We are losing too many of our children to the streets and drugs.  Too many youth of today don’t have the spiritual guides that generations of the past had long ago.  When children started raising children and the household only had one generation under the roof, we lost some of great value.  I now understand the importance of have at least three generations under one roof because it really does take a village to raise a child.  If we can’t correct this soon, we will have too many who will not be able to take over and run the world of our properly.  Look around you and see who we will be leaving behind when it’s our time to transition to the next stage of existence.

I don’t want our species to have to be set back due to our watch.  After all, our ancestors got us this far.  It’s up to us to pick up the torch and continue the journey forward.  Those who came before us left many lessons for us to learn, but they also left us the tools to learn them with. We must do the same for those who come after us.  It’s our responsibility.

Torai Tricia Ross I stand corrected adults can learn as well. Perhaps the answer is more to where do we concentrate our efforts. We really should be brain storming ways we can correct this situation. It's not hopeless. It's just a challenge. A puzzle to be solved.
