I went in to register with the clerk of court here in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana. The Marriage Laws meter on the ULC state map had Louisiana all the way in the red for difficulty. So I had drivers license, Ordination Credential, and Letter of Good Standing ready to go. I was pleasantly suprised when the clerk just opened the Big Book o' Ministers and said, "Here, sign in." Just that easy, name, address, church, denomination, and signature. And that was it; they never checked or asked for a copy of anything! Howver, the Minister records are kept in the Criminal Records Section of the courthouse--wonder if there is any connection?
