Religions and Divisions

  • Religion for the most part is loosely based on historical facts.  The places existed, but the facts are obscured by the stories that were passed from one person to the other person.

Most of the information in the sacred texts was verbally told to a group as the written word was not available at that time. This is not to say that what is written is not the truth, but as with all stories there is always an embellishment.  For instance, you can be in a room with several people and a phrase or story is whispered to one person and whispered to the next. As the story or phrase gets passed from one person to the next then whispered to you, the story or phrase has changed.

Therefore we can assume the story of Jesus is not as accurate as it is claimed to be. We make the mistake of worshipping Jesus the man. True, he may have been touched by the divine spirit, but it it the way he lived and the words and deeds he spoke which are important.  This is true with many religions, we as a people tend to worship the image of a person and put little emphasis on person's deeds and the way they lived their lives.  This is the whole essence of religion, to look at the deeds and the way these prophets have lived their lives and try to walk in their shoes, taking their words to heart

    .

If we based creation as the beginning when Adam and Eve were created then we ourselves are either sons of Adam or daughters of Eve. Looking at it in this perspective also brings those who are Islamists within the group as Abraham himself was a son of Adam and so is Muhammad. We are all brethren, related to each other in one way or form. As brethren we are also connected to everything living around us, everything we see, feel and smell. Everything around us is made of the same stuff on the sub-atomic level.

Therefore it can be summed up in the phrase:

ALL IS ONE, ALL IS LOVE, ALL IS WHAT YOU MIGHT CALL GOD AND ALL IS PERFECT.

Peace be with you my brethren and friends, may that which is Holy to you look after you.
