The passion is a good movie to help give us some idea of the pain and suffering that Jesus went through for us. He was beaten for us and to save us from our sins. We were the ones who deserved all the treatment and pain Jesus got even death, but thanks to God's love and mercy Jesus took our place. It is only fitting (right) that we obey Jesus, accept Him as our Lord and Savior, and become His slaves. Slaves of righteousness and not slaves of sin or human flesh. Every Christian should watch the Passion at least once a year to be reminded of Jesus's suffering for us. Thank you Jesus for shedding your blood for us. Just like Jesus took up His cross and all that came with it, the good and bad, we need to seek every day to conform our lives to the life that Jesus lived. We are supose to stay away from everything (all evil, sin, lust, selfishness, pride, etc.) that jesus would not do and has told us in His Word not to do. If we see someone sinning, disobeying Jesus, then we are supose to confront them and let them know what they are doing is wrong in the Lord's eyes. This doesn't mean to be pointing a finger at them, but to lovingly help them to become the people that God wants them to be. If we don't do anything at all then we might as well be doing it ourselves because we are sayin that what they are doing is ok if we don't lovingly let them know what they are doing is wrong. I pray that everyone turns away from their sins when confronted but if not then it's on them. God gave us free will and we can't force anyone to do anything that they don't want to do. All we can do is offer them advice, tell them from scripture what Jesus would say about it and pray for them. Faith without works id dead. Can't say that you believe in Jesus, accept Him and then still live the same sinful life and expect to be saved. You got to turn away from your sinful ways and turn towards righteousness. We also got to accept Jesus into your heart as your Lord and Savior and be willing to become His slave. Romans 12:1-2 says "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your resonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your nmind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." Jesus loves us all. He loves us so much that he died for us on the cross.
