Question about the Gospels

I have a question about the 4 Gospels. I was raised Catholic and beleived the church on the Gospels but it has now been proven tha the Gospels text was from many years after the life of the deciples. They are from the same time as the Gospel of Mary. The Catholis church decided that Mary's was not worthy to be in the Bible. No woman was worthy to be considered. I beleive most of the writing s attributed to Paul is also from a period many years after his death. These are copies and you know how thing get changed in translation.What are your feelings on this matter.

Rev. Suzanne Ranu The men of the church at that time took the original gospels and changed lot of the wording to fit into the way they wanted the church to be. Just look at all the different versions of the Bible. If you read a verse in one Bible it is worded a different ... more

Louis Seawell Thank you Suzanne. I feel the same way. The only problem is the way some churches still hold on to modified text as though they were there when it was originally written. I watch EWTN sometimes and it is amazing the authority these people over Jesus. ... more
