Sitting here thinking about how not only I threw my niece under the bus in court, but I threw the Jude and Probation under the bus with her. It was a strategic move that not many would dare take, but I must say for the benefit of my Blind Sister, and Myself it did the trick. Normal situations with teens at risk, are far different from the situation my Sister and I face, and I had to tell the courts that they've not only wasted 9 months of our time and money, but their money, and the states money as well. I told them how nothing they have done to prevent the situation has worked, so after telling them face to face that I feel the Judge and the probation office has not only let us down, failed their jobs, but aren't taken the situation as serious as they should. When is it ok to let troubled people continue skating over the mistakes they made. How many slaps on the wrist are they allowed? Nipping the problem isn't going to work the courts way, but when you get people like me to make the courts do their job, it does work a lot better. When is it ok to allow people to skate over the problems they have created. How many slaps on the wrist is one allowed? People need to pay the time for the crimes they commit, and the authorities need to wake up. People are like flowers in a garden bed, even the most beautiful, well bloomed flowers need cultivated or they go plain and wild. I am feeling a bit releaved that my words did the trick in court.
