Its my understanding that the ULC mission is to provide an avenue for those of different faiths to congregate to exchange different theological ideas and opinions. To Ordain those whom believe themselves to be called without questioning the supreme power that called them.
To support and uplift one another.
It is true that there are those that abuse and do not take this blessing seriously.
I learned years ago as a minister in my first Independent Baptist Church after I had finished my studies at the BBC, that finances are always a concern; but as men of faith, it is God's concern not ours. Does he not provide for the birds of the field?
There was just a long discussion on the youth that are on this site and I can not help but wonder what kind of example we as men of faith are setting for them arguing over money and who should pay for what. These are the things that should be discussed in a different forum, if they must be discussed at all instead of leaving these things to prayer and our God as they should be.
