There is a small town in the south eastern United States that is home to a small church that has as average attendance of 150. The economy in this town has been hit hard, and as the members of the community lost their jobs and homes, this man stepped forward to do what he believes God has led him to do.
The doors of the Church were opened, cots brought in, the churches kitchen was opened and none of the 11 families go without a roof over there head or a meal, in his words; "they have been blessed so far that no one has been turned away." When I asked my brother in Christ what he needed, he had only one response; "PRAYER."
I'm reminded of KJV Mat 25:42-45 For I was an hungered, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did [it] not to one of the least of these, ye did [it] not to me.
I would ask that all the brothers and sisters here on the ULC would pray for this little church and for this brother that ask for nothing more than our prayers and that God will continue to allow him to serve.
Rev Robert Fuller
