Every day is an exercise in lifes adventure.
The sunrise bursts forth without promise or bond.
Last nights foggy memories hold no tenure.
Tomorrows plans lay unfinished, a mere afterthought of here and now.
Yesterdays projects lay buried in the rubble of forgotten schemes.
My life is a dustbin of incomplete projects and half- finished dreams.
But today holds a promise of fun and adventure untold.
I will give it a chance, sit back, and watch it unfold.
Ask me tomorrow if all that I wanted came true.
I may tell you the answer is yes, or, I may say that I haven't a clue.
Whatever I tell you; there is one thing for certain my friend.
Everything we encounter, or think of, or wish for in life, has beginning and end.
So given the choices, the facts, and decisions ahead.
I feel no unease, discomfort, hesitation, or dread.
It's a wonderful thing to have the mystery of life lay before me.
It's a dilemma I welcome, while waiting to see what will be.~Jay Olson
