Walking in the mornings filtered light,
I hear the song of birds in flight.
Four leaf clovers rise in the path before me.
Broken mirrors are scattered under my feet.
My ears are full of bursting sounds.
Here, light and goodness doth abound.
The morning sunlight warms my brow and fills my soul.
My life, now blessed, with grace and joy unfolds.
Dumb luck has struck; so I've been told.
It saves the young, it soothes the old.
I'll thank my stars, the moons, and such, walking onward.
To know I’ve been given, so very much, lifts me up.
So walk I will, throughout this day.
I'll travel the straight and narrow way.
Doing my best while on my appointed round; seeing the beauty.
Wearing a smile and not a frown; defying gravity.~Jay Olson
