What Money Can't Buy

  • When I was young and in my prime. I didn't have a single dime. But what I had, you could not buy. And I hope I have it till the day I die. I had an angel following me. I had an angel I could not see. I didn't know the angels name. I loved that angel all the same. It made no difference what I'd do. My angel stuck to me like glue. It picked me up when I fell down. And followed me from town to town. Well all you have to do is look to see. That I'm not as young as I used to be. There's still one thing that gives me pride. My angel friend's still at my side. Well I ain't young, I'm past my prime. I still don't have a single dime. But what I've got you still can't buy. And I hope I do until the day I die. Jay O.
