  • Notice of marriage to a civil marriage
    Within 3 months the marriage, the act of publication must be posted for 20 days. You must complete the required form, sign it and post a copy where the celebration will take place and the courthouse. We recommend that you view the act of publication at least 25 to 30 days before the date of the celebration. The act of publication can be faxed to the courthouse nearest the place of the celebration of the judicial district of Hull. This district is served by:

    the courthouse , In addition, please note that the act of publication, you must swear in a witness by a Commissioner of Oaths. You can access by following links in the Register of Commissioners for Oaths and the website of the offices of Services Québec that provide a service free of swearing.

    Information on future spouses
    Although optional, this form allows to gather all relevant information relating to future husbands and wives to be the record of the celebrant. Kindly fill the form of the intending spouses and wives and deposit it into your folder with copies of birth certificates, divorce, death, etc..
    Useful information to the celebrant
    This document guides you through the different stages of the celebration. There is included a checklist summary. In addition, please note that the act of publication, you must swear in a witness by a Commissioner of Oaths.
