Why do Jews celebrate Passover? Because it commemorates a MIRACLE. Our Ancestors were delivered from their BONDAGE in Egypt. This was over 3,500 years ago. How is this relevant today? The answer is simple. WE ARE CREATING NEW MEMORIES. NOT in a synagogue but in our HOME. RETELLING THE PAST BINDS US TO OUR FUTURE. WE ensure our SURVIVAL through the POWER OF MEMORY ! Our parents & grandparents will live on in us and our children & grandchildren through MEMORY. THIS IS THE SECRET TO ETERNAL LIFE. These promise the MEMORY OF ONE PERSON CARRIED on to THEIR CHILDREN’S CHILDREN. LET US REMEMBER THE MEN & WOMEN who are our ancestors,
who were freed from bondage, who prepared the way to the PROMISED LAND ... LET MY PEOPLE GO !!!
