All of us need to phone, write, fax, email Senators listed to demand their vote for Enhanced FMAP Amendment for HR 4213. PA does not have the money to fund needed Medicaid services. HCBS services for people planning to transition out of expensive nursing homes will not be funded. HCBS services in our community will be cut. This means hours/units of attendant care; or transportation needs; or for home modifications; and more. We could end up in Expensive Nursing Homes. The U.S. Senate has the power to pass the Amendment with 60 votes. Last time they checked: The votes are not adding up. We can take it back! BUT TIME is critical. We all must act by Monday June 14 end of business day. Make your calls today. Write your letters and fax them today. Get to friends, family, your posse to do the same.We can bring Enhanced FMAP home to Pennsylvania but we have to fight now and fight strong in our numbers.
