We have received threats before. Each time JUSTICE PREVAILED. Each time GOD WAS WITH US.
Tonight Father Leslie & I attended a function in our neighborhood. Right before we were ready to leave two people showed
up at this neighborhood function who had harrassed us for about 7 years. I directed Father Leslie away from them and
continued to talk to anyone who approached us to share pleasant conversation. We left without Fr. Leslie knowing that
the man who tried to steal our children, our dogs and our home was present. He has been away for a while and didn't
realize that Fr. Leslie couldn't see him anymore. He tried to run out of the yard but his wife made him stay.
When we got home to our small apartment I finally told Fr. Leslie who was there and he said thank you for not telling
him while we were still there. After we had some time to talk over tea Fr. Leslie went to take a nap. Then I went on the
computer to chat with our Monastery Network friends here at ULC. I also checked my e-mail. Someone had sent me
a threatening e-mail. I passed it along to the authorities. LET IT BE KNOWN THAT WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR
THE WORDS AND ACTIONS OF OTHER PEOPLE, ONLY OUR OWN AND THAT WE ARE CERTAINLY PREPARED TO
RESPOND TO ANY WHO WOULD THREATEN OUR FAMILY. NOT TO WORRY: MAKE NO MISTAKE. GOD IS IN CHARGE.
