TITLES OF RESPECT AND RELATIONSHIPS: A REQUEST TO HONOR OTHERS
RESPECT and the Titles which often accompany them are used to give honor to our elders, to our peers and to those that come to visit and join our community. The Monastery offers Certificates of Title to honor and encourage the ministers to represent their accomplishments. A TITLE does not necessarily reflect that one is UNWILLING to roll up their sleeves and work with others. ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS in this regard. TITLES are used to designate and reflect an area of responsibility and/or allegiance within a group.
THIS ALSO INCLUDES titles of special relationship such as MR. and MRS. which, while they technically have NO BEARING on membership here @ the Network, they are, nonetheless, reflective of relationships AND BOUNDARIES which are to be honored BY APPLICABLE LAW (see the Terms of Service in the lower left hand corner of each page) to which we all answer in THIS LIFETIME and IN THIS PLACE WHERE WE DO BUSINESS WITH ONE ANOTHER. LEGAL RELATIONSHIP BOUNDARIES should be honored in all our interactions here via WRITTEN and SPOKEN communication with one another. Thank you to all who observe and honor such boundaries and treat their neighbors and fellow ministers with respect in all their contacts with each other. We especially thank everyone here who has thus far respected OUR MARRIAGE and MINISTRY in the same way that we would do for you. We have heard, however, of others who have not received such respect and hope that we can all make a more CONCERTED EFFORT in the future to protect and defend people’s choice of partner in THIS LIFETIME AND THIS PLACE.
Respectfully Submitted,
ELDERS MOTHER NANHI AND FATHER LESLIE
