To my Colleagues & Friends.
The following statement is not for the faint-hearted (You have to be brave to read this one):
If someone is of a different “RACE” than you do not assume they are "pulling the RACE CARD" when they discuss RACE RELATIONS here or any place else. Talking openly about race and its difficult history in this country is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY to HEAL THE PAIN and overcome the difficulties that still exist. This might make some uncomfortable but it IS NECESSARY. The same goes for issues of GENDER RELATIONS and GENTER IDENTITY and non-traditional RAINBOW MARRIAGES (gay, lesbian, interracial, interreligious, blended,etc.).
Let's STOP pretending folks. DENIAL doesn’t get us anywhere in this life. There is still much work to be done to guarantee ACCEPTANCE FOR ALL GOD'S CHILDREN. Whether you agree or disagree with this statement I thank you in advance for at least reading it with an open mind and out of respect to YOUR RIGHT to speak your own mind on these matters I thank for affirming MY RIGHT TO DO SO.

P.S. Please remember in your public postings and private messages sent to me that I do not and have never possessed the power to speak for others and WILL NOT BE HELD accountable for what others think or say or for how they respond to what I say. We ALL take responsibility HERE and ANYWHERE only for our OWN WORDS not for those spoken by others. ALL OF US ARE PRECIOUS & UNIQUE.
