If you work as a Mental Health Professional (Counselor, Therapist, Social Worker, etc.) please consider joining the MINISTERS AS MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS group here at the ULCM Ministers Network. Here is an excerpt from that group's discussion topics:
INTRODUCING REV. DR. MARY K. MORROW-FARRELL, DD, etc. ...
I have a BA in Music Education (including Music Therapy) with a minor in Psychology, an MA in Bilingual/Bicultural Mental Health, a PhD in Child and Family Studies, a DD in Interreligious Dialogue, a JD (non-bar) in Theology and an EdD in Educational Leadership.
I have worked as an Educator, Curator, Library and Museum Specialist, Mobile Therapist, Mentor, Social Work Supervisor and Salesperson in Ecclesiastical Arts Custom Design as well as a Translator of Spanish and German. This eclectic background includes salaried, freelance and consultant work.
I also homeschooled my own children who have grown up to become adults who are active in the community, one as a Martial Arts and Self-Defense Instructor, the other as a Ballet & Jazz Dance Professional focused on Peace & Justice Productions. My husband (Pop Leslie, another ULCM minister) and I have an internet ministry called BETTER N BETTER MINISTRIES as advocates and counselors for the physically disabled and their families.
WE LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING more about each one who chooses to associate with this group (MMHP). WE KNOW we will be ENRICHED by everyone's experiences as they share their successes and challenges with us.
