Earlier today I posted a short acknowledgement about Our Lady of Guadalupe. I received the following public message immediately from another minister "I wish XXX would stop flooding the boards with blather." This was followed by my being told (again) that I "imagined" that this was a personal insult to me. NOT ONLY was it a slight to me but also to EVERYONE here. If we repeatedly accuse others who post something we do not have an interest in of "flooding with blather" OR of creating (as I have been told in the past) “ GRAFFITTI “ then we are formally forbidding others to post their beliefs. There is a decided pattern of not so subtle harassment here that has been going on FOR AT LEAST A YEAR. This is more than a personal slight to me. It flies in the face of the whole purpose of the Monastery which is for us to share our beliefs with one another. If one would like to say that one disagrees with a statement or has no interest in it, so be it. But to continuously ask ONLY certain persons not to post their beliefs or ideas this will shut down communication for EVERYONE eventually. TIME to show tolerance and respect to others as if one believed what they believe and walked where they walk. THAT IS INDEED the mission of the ULCM. There is a decided difference between disagreement and disgust with someone. Is it really still our mission here to BRING HARM TO NO ONE???? I WONDER…have we lost our way????
