We spend most of our lives afraid of who we are and hiding the fact that no one will ever get to meet the real you and we qualm that If someone ever met the true us, they will reject us with all of our faults and short comings?
Is the question then do we know who we really are?
We all say that we believe in Deities and that we honor, serve, pray, praise and worship them, we habitually quote their scriptures their ancient texts and we proudly proclaim to the world our undying love.
But how do they see us, do they pity us, do they sit in judgment because we are utterly flawed, do they hate us because we mess up our lives time and time again by our stupid choices or do they love us although we serve them with this haughty convenient state of mind?
What am I trying to say here?
Listen, the only way we can truly know who we are, love ourselves and honor our Deity is by loving one another.
We spend so much time looking at the specks of dust in our brother’s eyes that we don’t see the logs in ours, we should treasure the things that unit us rather than those things that divide us.
Then and only then will we understand who we truly are, how are Deity sees us and be able to love ourselves.
