Arkansas - The preserve at Arkansas is CLOSED teporarily.
New Mexico - We are all scheduled to meet finally in August and begin work on the new prayer chapel. After 6 months of struggle and strife we are nearly at sanctuary once again.
The New Mexico monastery has some planting and gardens already going but less than ten percent of what we will run. We are planning for refugee brothers as well both local and distant vocations as our economy declines through next year. Brothers will teach a variety of skills and make products to support the monastery where we dwell with the animals.
We have closed all other stores and focused all items in the Temple site. We will handle the majority of monastery business OFFline through printed news and postal shipping.
Our largest expences now will be the bio-fuel processor and diesel generators to run the well and essentials during power outs. Donations at this time are all going to the animals food, medicines and bedding etc as well as safety fence for their gigantic new yard.
The school is breaking down the one year residency training program into month by month blocks to accomodate local, non-resident students. The one year residency of $10,000.00 is being reduced to $8,000 for the next 2-4 new vocations who will help to build the new chapel. All members may take these residencies to participate. Experienced brothers need not re-purchase equipment and will have their residencies adjusted for them. When the chapel is complete we will open the monastery under normal terms and individual vocation needs.
