Welcome to the ULC Minister's Network

My Mission

  •

Bond County, Illinois is not very well represented when it comes to Charity’s providing Clothing to citizens in the county. My hope is to provide some type of low income store to help those in need yet keeping those from taking what they don’t need.

I have been getting the message out and thus far have received some jackets, winter coats, my goal is to go out this week to buy some flannel blankets, I have began using wood in my fireplace to heat the house on chilly nights so I can save enough to buy more blankets.

My Family is working on seeing what kind of stuff they have; People in rural counties are having just as hard of a time as those in the big cities and metro, Larry Rice in St Louis has a nice organization but is 36 – 45 miles away from, To far to drive for most in our area so a system in our area would be great.

Another area we will be focusing on is helping people conserve and prepare for the harsh summer and winter months, focusing on Energy Conservation and alternatives such as solar cooking and distilling water and much more, I myself have been studying Herbal Medicines such as the Indians have for centuries.

People seem to have forgotten how to Garden and set up and work community gardens, canning etc and all the things we now take for granted now days but our Grandparents and Parents did, We have become a society relying on pre packaged goods.

My Ministry I hope is FAR from being a tree hugging ministry however we are supposed to be earth keepers not earth breakers but with that said a lot of things our grandparents did will be refocused in our lives as we continue into the 21st century.

This will take a great deal of energy but with God’s help and a lot of work and prayer I’m sure my seed will bear fruit.

God Bless and until next time…………
