I read the blogs and polls usually several times a day. I am blessed with the free time that many of you do not have. I know how fortunate I am in that respect.
I don’t want to start any more of the bickering, but I have a challenge for ULC ministers here at the Network. Read the blogs and polls! I know it sounds simple, but the numbers indicate that very, very, very few people ever read the majority of the blogs or polls. The system keeps up with how often something is viewed. Now I know that viewing a blog or poll is not an indication of if it is read. That said, if there have been less than 10 views, there cannot be any more reads than views. The majority of both blogs and to an extent polls in the last two weeks have less than 10 total views, in fact far too many under 5.
You may not agree at all with whatever whoever rights. That is your right. However, there are many insightful and intelligent blogs and polls. I doubt that many except the most close minded, would not garner a morsel of useful thoughts or truths from the many blogs and polls here. If you don’t get anything, you will not have wasted more than a minute or two in trying. I would bet that most will garner good from the reading.
Support your fellow ULC ministers, read their thoughts and words. The more we understand and explore the different faiths and viewpoints present here, the better people we are.
As I said, I am not looking to fuel controversy, but so much good is being left by the way side that anyone could use to enrich their physical and spiritual life. It would make us all better ministers. That’s my opinion anyway.
Blessings and blessed be
