I have officiated two ceremonies so far and have three planned for the near future. I have just committed to two more ceremonies at a future tba date. Up to this point I have not charged any fee for my services. Most judges (justice of the peace) around here charge $50 or more. I am thinking of charging $30 in town and $50 out of town. My question is this: How much do I have to accrue in money earned before I have to claim it on my taxes or do I claim no matter how much I make? Also, what form do I use for that? I would try calling the IRS but instead of being put on hold for eternity (lol), I figured I would try here first.
