Since the bombings in Paris and Beirut in the last week or so, the world has been bombarded by News media reporting on the events as they took place. We also saw an explosion of social media activity. We have also seen once again a googleplex of personal opinion on those events. We know that mainstream media generally has two flowing rivers of ideals in what their stance is on any event. As we all know there is left wing or Liberal media, and there is right wing Conservative media. That being said, respectable media outlets have a code of ethics they in general adhere to for responsible reporting. Social media on the other hand does not adhere to the same rules. More and more we see Antagonists writing blogs that paint a picture of purely one sided events. One good guy and one bad guy, one victim and one villain etc... Another thing social media does is promote an agenda. We have heard over the past couple days how the Mainstream media is skewed, on the contrary, it is social media that is skewed, skewed by agenda and personal ideals. Let's be honest, most of us have been on facebook right? We have all seen articles from bloggers, who have little or no actual journalist experience what so ever. There are also those who are or have been sports writers, business and fianace weriters or even food critics, who now find that they have the experience to write about world political or terroristic events. More times than not anymore it seems that social media writers are playing on the gullible and worrisome reader and not so much on the facts of the events they choose to "spread the word" and forget what is most important... Spreading the truth..
