Greetings Everyone!
Here's an example of a very simple Wedding Ceremony that I performed yesterday for a couple. The entire ceremony took about 2 minutes! After I pronounced them husband and wife, the woman who was taking the photos yells out, "Is that it?" The couple yelled back, "Short and sweet! That's what we wanted!" Considering the wedding was held outside and we're in Wisconsin, that wasn't such a bad thing!
Feel free to use and elaborate upon as you like! :)
Namaste!
Short and Sweet Wedding Ceremony
Minister: We are gathered here today to join this man and this woman in the bonds of holy matrimony. Although, this ceremony is only an echo of the promises that they have made to each other within their own hearts.
(to Groom:) ______, do you take _____ to be your lawfully wedded wife?
Groom: I do.
Minister (to bride:) _____, do you take _____ to be your lawfully wedded husband?
(ring exchange)
Minister: Then by the power invested in me, you are now husband and wife.
(Couple kisses.)
