I was born with brittle born(www.oif.org) n have had over 50/60 broken bones in my life 85% of them before I was a teenager... Was using a manual wheelchair n a cane on n off most of my life when I broke a bone back into wheelchair thento cane but 4/2008 had a stroke that bound me to use an electric wheelchair(which is 7years old n my insurance is unwilling to repair or replace it insurance is Medicaid managed by an HMO Amerigroup) I lost ability to walk, fine motor control of right side of body so I relay on the electric wheelchair for all my mobility needs... I live on SSI income which is very limited n after monthly bills life rent, utiliies I barely have much left for anything else let alone medical eguipment...

I am trying to get awareness of a problem insurances are starting to refuse repairs to wheelchair so I think n want retailers n makers of wheelchairs to offer extended warranties since insurance are being unhelpful n uncaring to disabled needs...
