As we enter 2013 the Lord is with us, and many are being positive and upbeat, despite the fact that the US is facing going over the fiscal cliff. We as a nation have been responsible for that and the escape is only found in the Bible. 2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. This is pointed at the Christians and we must honestly reflect and repent going into the new year, and ask the Lord Jesus to forgive our sins and heal our land.

Read and you are off, study context when this was said and why, address to who in the political context of the time. We fix this by being fiscally responsible and pay our taxes specially if you are rich....LOL

I was making a point based on observations of the current conditions in the United States of America, and viewing them through the lens of the Scripture, as this nation was founded on Biblical Precepts. The things that are now allowed provide evidence of how far we have strayed from the God of the Bible, and my clarion call is to those that are Called by the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to follow the injunction of the Word of God,and repent and seek the face of the Lord God, that He would intervene and forgive the sins of this land, which are many. And once the Christians have repented then the Lord will bless the land with prosperity, and peace. That is my prayer for 2013. I did not direct it at those who do not follow the Bible but those that claim to love the Lord God of the Bible.
