The ULC's diversity is it's greatest strength. Every member here has his/her own beliefs, philosophies,and motivations.Many of us are deeply involved with and emotionally invested in our beliefs.I have often seen innocuous comments misconstrued, and parties take offense where no insult was intended.I love you all,and beg forgiveness if I have said anything to upset anyone of you.I have noticed that I am miserably human, with a tendency towards self righteousness,and I ask all of my friends and fellow ministers to chastise me when necessary, to keep me humble. Many people come to this site as I did,not knowing what to expect.I have cone to appreciate the value of everyone's opinion here,and I wince when discussions become hotly debated and overly negative. I know that it is exceedingly naive, but I sincerely wish that we could all just get along!
