The Great Mantra is offered to all. It sings hope to the soul that sings it, by destroying the 16 envelopments into which one is more than likely to become entangled. The sixteen kalas are the subtle aspects of the spirit soul, who is living in this natural body. They are: Life Force, Faith, Ether, Air, Light, Water, Earth, Sense Organs, The Mind, Annam, (Sheath comprised of the food we eat) Vital Energy, Meditation, Sonic Power, Karma, The Worlds and Personal Individuality
These aspects of our subtle body are easily misaligned as we travel through day to day life. Because of Maya (or illusion) we can easily become sapped of our vital energy and just float there without any direction. It is The Great Mantra which realigns our spiritual centres and our ability to respond to the subtle body as it reacts to the stimulus of the natural world.
I used to think this was ridiculous until I tried it! It is a hidden secret, about which the world does not know; due to illusion again. It's real simple though. Krishna is God The Father. He gives us His Name in order to save us from the whiles of the illusory world around us. We are tempted on all sides by every kind of thought, emotion, sensation or aspiration. But as we chant: hare rama hare rama rama rama hare hare hare krishna hare krishna krishna krishna hare hare - we are thus realigned spiritually, by God Himself.
Krishna has countless incarnations on countless worlds, but Krishna is His Original Form and all creatures serve Him unawares. Krishna says: "As they, mankind devote themselves to The Limitless Invisible Brahman, they are blessed by My Hand, not knowing that I have a spiritual body and am localized in One Form. I see all, hear all and bless all according to My Desire. It is by My Grace alone that the universe is held in place. Those souls who worship My Name above all else find Me; and by My Name they are relieved from the manifold roots of sin".
