Everyone is equal

    Hello.  I don't think I've blogged before so please bear with me...

    Firstly I'd like to tell you that I am an atheist.  Funny that there is a word for it.  I don't believe in fairies either but there isn't a word for that.

    Now, I'm sure you're wondering why I went and became a minister.

    Its simple, I want to give people that are not of a specific faith, a person that could marry them.

    Not everyone wants a 'religious' wedding.  Some like hand binding.  Some just want a few nice words to send them on their life journey together.  So forgive me if I don't spread blessings around.

    I am not offended by any blessings any one of you send me.  I like the positive way in which it is offered.

    I like it when people 'friend' me.  Its nice.

    I don't come on to this site often but I always enjoy the blogs that I read.

    I hope none are offended, I simply wanted to get out my perspective.

    Tom Asdell I think (that can be dangerous, thinking) that saying things like 'oh god' or 'jesus' are cultural expressions rather than religious ones. Most times those things are said, they are what the person was raised hearing in extreme circumstances. I could be...  more

    Elder Sioux Chief, Gary Hare When I curse, I say GD it, but I don't mean cursing God, just comes out that way I guess, cursing the circumstance, like dropping a dish... Then in other situations when I'm having a really good time, I praise God for it, saying Oh God! Yes!
