Have you ever noticed how diffferent faiths tend to stay vehemently seperate from each other? What if for a moment instead of looking at all the differences in the different faiths, we looked at their simularities? We do call ALL of them, "faiths" after all. Every single faith does indeed have the, "Golden Rule". Perhaps they aren't all that different.
Let's look at commonalities in the different religions by assembling the simular and common visions, values and ideals that exist amongst the different relgions. We should identify the shared visions and then encourage universal affirmation of those values and ideals.
It is only through old tradtional militant acts and church clericals that different faiths are kept seperated.
Let us realize and make popular the foundational truths that are identical in ALL faiths. Let us bring together the commonalities in all faiths!
Because of the Universal Spiritual Unity that exists amongst ALL people everywhere this truth deserves recognition and response from all people everywhere. It deserves great celebration.
After quite a bit of research over the years, out of all the websites and forums traveled, I believe this Unity group right here at this website to have the ability, talent and fire to begin to spark such discussions. Why don't we begin knocking our heads together, begin recruiting leaders and people from the eastern faiths to come join in the discussion. Why don;t we begin to hammer out the Commonalities amongst world faiths?
I will tell you this. That before the end of the age of Aquarius, some 2100 years from now, when it is all said and done, we will have taken the most common and genuinely best parts of each of the different faiths and assembled them into one faith. It is this new faith that will guide us through the age. The bible and other main faiths sacred texts are 2000+ years old, and just as the cycle of the age changes, A new story begins. And forth comes a new sacred text for the age. And so advances the spiritual unification of humanity.
It is inevitable.
So why don't we get an early start? (Even though I'd say we're late!)
