WHEN YOU OBEY…
The life of obedience is for our good. So when we chose to go the way of obedience, we are moving into the loves realm. And God is love. This implies that we’re stepping into the God’s realm – supernatural realm. Where what you say registers immediately in the heavens. Obedience brings several benefits. You will prosper and have good success.
Joshua 1:8
8 "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
A life of obedience is required to enjoy kingdom prosperity.
Job 36:11, 12
11 If they obey and serve Him, They shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures. 12 But if they do not obey, They shall perish by the sword, And they shall die without knowledge.
Do you want to prosper? Go the obedient way! You will eat the good things (rewards) of the ‘LAND.’
Isaiah 1:19
19 If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;
There is honey in the land where you dwell. I am so certain about this. But obedience is an important tool if you want to enjoy it. The good things of the land includes gold, silvers, diamonds, precious stones, oil and gas, wealth, foods and many more. The land will work for you and not against you in Jesus name Amen.
Do you know someone can be recommended for promotion because he/she is obedient? It is true. Obedience is the beauty of a godly woman. An obedient son is the joy of his father. You will not be devoured by the sword.
Isaiah 1:20
20 But if you refuse and rebel, You shall be devoured by the sword"; For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.
Barrenness is a devourer. Sickness is a devourer. Just to mention a few. But God is saying that our disobedience, rebel, and refusal to follow His instructions will lead to us suffering them. It pays to walk in obedience because, good health, and longevity are his children.
Malachi 3:8 – 12
8 "Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, 'In what way have we robbed You?' In tithes and offerings. 9 You are cursed with a curse, For you have robbed Me, Even this whole nation. 10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this," Says the LORD of hosts, "If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it. 11 "And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field," Says the LORD of hosts;
A story was told about the he-goat and is master. Once upon a time a little he-goat told his master of is intension to run to the hills and play. But the wise master told him that the wolf is out there. Time and time this was the desire of the he-goat. This sounds like some of us. God instructions do not cause grieve; we believe His instruction puts us in bondage, not knowing they are for our good. One day the little he-goat escapes and run to the hills. He climbs to the top of the hills and breathe the air of freedom. Most of us want to be free but freedom without instruction is dangerous. The master came out with a clarion call for the he-goat but he refused to return. Do you know it grieves the Fathers' heart when He is trying to guide us through His Word and Spirit and we reject Him? That little he-goat soon realizes that actually the wolf was out in the hills. As the night falls he saw two green eyes in the dark. And it was the wolf! You know there is an adage that the dog who is about to die, will not hear the hunters whistle. And the wolf had the he-goat for a dinner.
You will encounter signs and wonders. There is a hidden power in obedience. I call it, THE HIDDEN POWER TO RELEASE THE SUPERNATURAL. Signs and wonders answers only to obedience and not to tears. It is your obedience to Gods' instructions that is the proof of your faith, ‘Jesus said to the servants, Make the pots full of water. And they made them full to the top. Then he said to them, now take some, and give it to the master of the feast. So they took it to him.’(B.B.E). and what happen? A MIRACLE took place. All through scriptures wherever there’s a miracle, obedience will be found in great measure. I prophesy, you shall move to your next level in life in the name of Jesus Amen. Please only just walk in obedience. You will be established.
1 Samuel 15:20 – 29
20 And Saul said to Samuel, "But I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and gone on the mission on which the LORD sent me, and brought back Agag king of Amalek; I have utterly destroyed the Amalekites. 21 "But the people took of the plunder, sheep and oxen, the best of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice to the LORD your God in Gilgal." 22 Then Samuel said: "Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams. 23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, He also has rejected you from being king." 24 Then Saul said to Samuel, "I have sinned, for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD and your words, because I feared the people and obeyed their voice. 25 "Now therefore, please pardon my sin, and return with me, that I may worship the LORD." 26 But Samuel said to Saul, "I will not return with you, for you have rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD has rejected you from being king over Israel." 27 And as Samuel turned around to go away, Saul seized the edge of his robe, and it tore. 28 So Samuel said to him, "The LORD has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today, and has given it to a neighbor of yours, who is better than you. 29 "And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor relent. For He is not a man, that He should relent."
At the root of every failure, sin, disappointment and reproach lies disobedience. ‘Disobedience is like the sin of divination (witchcraft). Adam was kicked out of the garden because of disobedience. The quickest way for God to set you up on high is through obedience Deuteronomy 28:1 1 "Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. When God sets a man up on high no man can bring him down. When we obey God instructions it will produce result anywhere in the world.
