Husbands, in the same way, treat your wives with consideration as the weaker partners and show them honor as fellow heirs of the grace of life. In this way nothing will hinder your prayers.
A husband and wife are “heirs together of the grace of life”. God’s word tells husbands to “love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word,” (Ephesians 5:25-26). God word tells wives “Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.” (Ephesians 5:24) Men, your relationship with God is connected to loving your wife. He has given you great responsibility in the leadership role in your marriage. Across the globe, we have seen the dismantling of the family, particularly in the area of men accepting the responsibility that God has given them in this area. Husbands, surrender to God and allow Him to transform you and lead you. Following Jesus is leading and loving your wife.
