The Churches Purpose
of Teaching
The reason I find churches losing patronage is mankind has become more curious about scripture and ancient beliefs. We see today corporate Churches pushing the dogma taught to them. Told not to go off base from what to preach. I remember going to the Methodist Church, I attended a teaching class where my wife and I were handed a booklet and all the verses lead to the same conclusion giving money to the church who will take care of the use of the sums. Jesus spoke against the ancient churches in Matthew 23 and 24, they as he put it.
Most like me I want to know all about past scripture, churches have declined to teach without reaching into the pocket of the curious. Often suggested reading and group study is good even the Books of Enoch have been blocked for study.
Matt. 23:14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.
He only suggested paying tribute to the temple when he healed a Jewish person. Go pay what tithes is expected of you for the temple. Also in Matt. 24 he spoke harshly of the Jewish practices. Even stating that one day not one stone of these temple would be standing. Are we to teach God's flock or merely fleece them of money, for our needs. The true temple is the people, why did the Christian Churches develop tithing? Just greed, if you can't give of yourselves for the children of God then we are not good shepherds. Donations are good but should not be expected. "Amen"
Matt. 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
Matt. 24:2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
He realized the belief in God had come down to a lost cause people be exploited.
Matt. 23:1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
Matt. 23:2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
Matt. 23:3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
Matt. 23:4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
Matt. 23:5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
Matt. 23:6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,
Matt. 23:7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
Matt. 23:8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
Matt. 23:9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
Matt. 23:10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
Matt. 23:11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
Matt. 23:12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
Matt. 23:13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
So remember to check yourselves, we are hear to serve God's children not fleece them of what little the poor have. "Amen"
Sincerely,
